He cultivated his tireless work ethic at Columbia College Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in Fiction Writing and developed a knack for research, audio production, acting, and, of course, prose writing. As an extracurricular pursuit, James taught himself the fundamentals of search-engine optimization (SEO) and front-end web design and development.
James established his career in the Digital Marketing division at Allstate, rising through the ranks to lead online presence initiatives for more than 10,000 Allstate Agents nationwide. Now serving the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau as its Director of Marketing, James promotes the communities of the Aurora Area to local, regional, and national travel audiences via social media marketing, content marketing, advertising, and public relations.
